The future doesn't just happen to us; we create it with what we do and what we don't do. So let's slow down more often and ask ourselves: What kind of world do we want to live in?

We're facing big societal challenges that require a new approach. 

As Albert Einstein, one of the most famous pioneers of the past century, once said: “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”

In order to find new solutions, we must think critically. Learn to see the world through different lenses, from new perspectives. Through the eyes of pioneers. Because pioneers are unique in their ability to lead the way. To see new angles, while others blindly follow the beaten path.

Technological developments change the way we live and work together at a rapid pace. And existing economic systems and organisational structures are under great pressure. We need to get back to the core of things and revise and redefine existing systems.

Complex global challenges, such as climate change, the loss of bodiversity and the impact of AI, don't fall into one domain. They are interdisciplinary themes that ask for a new approach of perceiving, acting and learning.

We believe that by broadening our knowledge, deepening cross-sectoral discussions, and training creativity and adaptibiltiy, we are more capable of seeing and understanding the interdependence and underlying relations of issues. And, as a result, we'll be better equiped to make the world a better place.

We must learn to handle change being the only constant variable. In order to provide direction in turbulent times and keep doing the right thing, we need to focus on resilience: open up, explore new skills and maintain our thirst for knowledge. Adaptability, compassion, imagination, courage and creativity are more important than ever. And we have to work together. Because we have faith in the wisdom of the crowd.
